News from the student aid fund! *english version below*
Auf der letzten Sitzung des Studierendenparlamentes wurde ein Beschluss gefasst, der die Richtlinie des studentischen Hilfsfonds verändert. Was bedeutet das? Der studentische Hilfsfonds ist ein Ausschuss des Studierendenparlamentes. Er vergibt zinsfreie Darlehen von bis zu 2.500€ an Studierende der Universität Bonn, die sich in einer finanziellen Notlage befinden. Durch die Änderung der Richtlinie wurde der Zugang zum Darlehen dahingehend erweitert, als dass ab sofort, für die Zeit des Sommersemesters 2020, auch ohne Bürgschaft ein Darlehen von bis zu 1000€ beantragt werden kann.
Wenn du durch die Corona-Pandemie deinen Job verloren hast oder du dich aus anderen Gründen in einer akuten finanziellen Notlage befindest, kannst du einen Antrag an den Hilfsfonds stellen, der mindestens folgende Informationen beinhalten muss:
- letzten drei Kontoauszüge
- Personalausweis bzw. Pass
- Meldebescheinigung des Einwohnermeldeamtes (nicht älter als 14 Tage)
- Studierendenausweis

At the meeting of the student parliament last Wednesday, a resolution was passed that changes the guidelines of the Student Aid Fund. What does this mean? The student assistance fund is a committee of the student parliament. It grants interest-free loans of up to €2,500 to students of the University Bonn who are in financial distress. By amending the guidelines, the access to the loan has been extended so that from now on, for the period of the summer semester 2020, a loan of up to 1000€ can be applied for even without a guarantee. If you have lost your job due to the Corona pandemic or you are in acute financial distress because of other reasons, you can send an application to the Student Aid Fund that includes at least the following information:
- last three bank statements
- ID or Passport
- proof of residence (no older than 14 days)
- student ID
