Es wurde ein neuer AStA gewählt!

Das Bonner Studierendenparlament hat auf seiner Sitzung am 22. März einen neuen AStA gewählt. Dieser besteht aus einer neuen Koalition zwischen der Grünen Hochschulgruppe (GHG), der Juso-Hochschulgruppe (Juso-HSG) und der Liste Poppelsdorf (LP).

Den AStA-Vorsitz bilden nun die Vorsitzende Janna Reif (GHG) und die beiden stellvertretenden Vorsitzenden Katrin Krzoska (Juso-HSG) und Vasco Silver (LP). Das Finanzreferat wird von Thomas Ortmann (Juso-HSG) weitergeführt. Elena Jansen (GHG)  übernimmt das Referat für Hochschulpolitik und Louis Heimann (für die GHG) das Sozialreferat. Thorben Thieme (GHG) wird Referent im Referat für Ökologie. Anton von Kölichen (Juso-HSG) führt das Referat für Kultur und studentische Initiativen weiter. Gina Muuss (LP) wird das IT- Referat leiten und Madita Mues (GHG) das Öffentlichkeitsreferat.

Das autonome Queer-Referat wird nun von Jace Proske und Noah Madest geleitet. Die weiteren autonomen Referate werden von den bisherigen Referent*innen bis zur Neuwahl durch die jeweiligen Interessensgruppen weitergeführt.

Ein großer Arbeitsschwerpunkt in dieser Wahlperiode ist die Sicherung der kostengünstigen studentischen Mobilität. Der AStA wird sich deswegen für ein vergünstigtes Deutschlandticket mit bundesweiter Gültigkeit einsetzen. Daneben soll der Fokus auf Nachhaltigkeit gelegt werden, um somit die Universität auf ihrem Weg zur Klimaneutralität im Jahr 2030 zu unterstützen. Ebenso setzt sich der AStA das Ziel, die Wohnungsnot für Studierende in Bonn zu bekämpfen und die Studiumsfinanzierung für alle zu gewährleisten.

Weitere Themen sollen die Verbesserung der Arbeitsbedingungen für studentische Hilfskräfte, der Ausbau der Barrierefreiheit an der Universität und die Weiterentwicklung der Digitalisierung sein. Die Koalition bekennt sich zum Antifaschismus und stellt sich konsequent gegen Rassismus, Sexismus, Homo- und Transfeindlichkeit sowie jede Form des Antisemitismus.

New AStA elected!

The student parliament of the University of Bonn elected a new General Students’ Committee (AStA) at its meeting on March 22. It consists of a new coalition between the Grüne Hochschulgruppe (GHG), the Juso Hochschulgruppe (Juso-HSG) and the Liste Poppelsdorf (LP).

The AStA chair is now formed by chair Janna Reif (GHG) and the two vice-chairs Katrin Krzoska (Juso-HSG) and Vasco Silver (LP). The finance department will be continued by Thomas Ortmann (Juso-HSG). Elena Jansen (GHG) will take over the department for university policy and Louis Heimann (for the GHG) the social services department. Thorben Thieme (GHG) becomes a speaker in the environmental department. Anton von Kölichen (Juso-HSG) continues the department for culture and student initiatives. Gina Muuss (LP) will lead the IT department and Madita Mues (GHG) the public relations department.

The autonomous queer department will now be led by Jace Proske and Noah Madest. The other autonomous departments will continue to be led by the current heads until new elections are held by the respective interest groups.

A major focus of the work in this election period is to ensure low-cost student mobility. The AStA will therefore advocate for a discounted Germany ticket with nationwide validity. In addition, the focus will be on sustainability in order to support the university on its way to climate neutrality in 2030. The AStA also aims to combat the housing shortage for students in Bonn and to ensure the financing of studies for all.

Other topics are to be the improvement of working conditions for student assistants, the expansion of accessibility at the university and the further development of digitalization. The coalition is committed to anti-fascism and consistently opposes racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia and any form of anti-Semitism.
